I see advent as a detox or purification. Giving up animal products and clean the body and spirit. Advent products found in stores seem to be designed exactly the opposite: ultraprocesate, chemicalize, with many 'empty' calories, additives, ingredients of very poor quality (sugar, margarine, white flour, soy syrup, glucose / fructose, etc.). . Canadian doctors have made public a study in which they warned those at risk of heart attack or stroke on the dangers of high cholesterol.The study published in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology "underscores the fact that egg yolk is more dangerous than fast-food meals.
This idea is supported by comparing the amount of cholesterol in the two types of food.
Experts say that the yolk contains between 215-275 milligrams of cholesterol, according to egg size, while fast-food products have a content of up to 150 milligrams of cholesterol.
In the same study shows that people with diabetes may suffer from increased cholesterol in cardiovascular disease by drinking egg yolk.
For diabetics that serve an egg every day, chances of developing cardiovascular disease doubles.
"There's no doubt about the whites, who still remained one of the most important sources of quality protein. Yolk, in turn, should not be eaten under any circumstances by adults who have a genetic predisposition to heart disease, Canadian doctors say.

apples can help

nutitionists are arguing about lots of food tipes but never about fruits. fruits are very good for health. i would like to talk about a fruit that we can find in every super market or corner store: apple

apples are an excellent source of pectin fiber, which lowers cholesterol and glucose (sugar) in blood. fresh apples contain vitamin C, which protects cells from destruction. helps form collagen, the substance that keeps us healthy tissues and blood vessels are absolutely necessary for the absorption of iron and folic acid.

i'm eating apple almost everyday. it helps me fight the hunger. before having my lunch or dinner i eat one or two apples and then i will not eat too much. maybe you should try it too.

get a pedometer!

hello guys!
who's winnig your battle against the extra pounds ? i'm still trying to keep my good habits but it's not very easy , i'll tell you that.

so last wekk i bought myself a new gadget: a pedometer ... you probably heard that you have to make at leat 10.000 steps every day in order to have a healty life and to burn enough calories. and a pedometer is the way to count those step of yours. you just put it on your belt, and start walking.  it's good to count it because it's keeps your mind focused on your target. there are many tipes , it count your steps, it tells you how many calories you have burned, how many miles you walked etc.

so i really find this gadget very usefull: when i arrive at home from the office i tell myself i still have to make 1000 or 2000 steps today, so i will park my car further from the block, and for sure i will climb the stairs instead of taking the elevator. try it !

get use to eat lots of fruits; and drink tea

that's one way that i managed to keep myself from eatinf to much. when i start to feel hunger i eat an apple, or two kiwis.
but it's important to eat the fruits before the main meals !

another "trick that i use is drink hot tea. i have a collection of very good and tastefull brands of tea: green tea with jasmin, rooibos and vanilla, white tea, fruit tea. Besides the fact that filling your stomac with a cup of tea makes you forget the hunger, tea has a lot of usefull proprieties that helps your health.

eat and drink water on a schedule

one of the most simple rules that you have to follow is to have a schedule for your daily meals. this is very important because is pretty easy to "teach" your body to "ask" for food at a specific hour

for example i eat my breakfast late at 10 a clock everyday. and i never feel hungry before 10 ! i preffer having a late breakfast in order to have a late dinner because that's the most difficult meal to control for me ... that's when i sometimes break the rules.

another rule, especially for people like me who retain water, is to drink water (a lot of water) 15 minutes before eating and not sooner then 45 minutes after you had your meal. that's really easy to do also ... but if you really need to drink water right after eating, drink hot wat or tea (sugarfree off course!)

riding a bicycle for a slim body

my family lost over 100 kilograms

i know it's hard to belive ... but it's true
and i'm not the champion ! it's something like this:
myself 20 kilograms
my wife 6 kilograms
my mother 24 kilograms
my sister 10 kilos
and my mother-in-law 53 kilograms

somebody asked me in a comment about how important is the family support when you are trying to get rid of your extra kilos

this is my answer: everybody were doing efforts to loose weight, we incouraged eachother and that's how we did it. now we incourage eachother to keep our weight under control because the battle is not over.

i'll try to get some pictures from them also :P and put it here if you are interrested.

how i lost 20 kilos

i'm 31 years old, 187cm and i lost this year 20 kilos as you can see in theese fotos.

a lot of people in the world are concerned with how they can loose weight or wich is the best way to keep themselfs fit.
i'm no expert but i was succesfull this year in loosing weight and then keep myself in good shape rather easy. of course the first part (loosing weight) was a challenge, it took a lot of discipline to learn how to feed myself the proper way.

but now it's pretty easy to keep myself in shape: the most important thing about eating is a strict schedule , you have to eat everyday at the same hour your breakfast, lunch and dinner.

of course what you eat is very important.

i'm not trying to sell anything, and i don't have a miracle solution for loosing weight, but i did it and i thing anyone can do it.

for example if you are a person who doesn't work out at all, you can start by take a 20-30 minutes walk, or climbing the stairs instead of using the elevator. then maybe you buy a bicycle ...

for example i bought a bicycle to use during my work at the office: while i work on my computer i'm doing just a little exercise ...

think about it and try it
